Reaction Spark is published by Gregory McCullough Enterprises LLC, New York, United States ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information, which is almost nothing.
Reaction Spark does not collect your data. Not "we collect a little." None.
That is about the app. The website you are reading this on is a different thing, and it does store your email address if you choose to give us one. There is a section about the website further down.
The app has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of ours. Your recordings, your voice, your captions and your brand kit stay on your iPhone. We could not see them if we wanted to, because there is nowhere for them to go.
The single thing that reaches the internet is Apple's own subscription system, which checks whether your subscription is active. That exchange is between your iPhone and Apple. It carries nothing about your videos, and we never see it.
Saved takes, your brand kit and your settings are stored in the app's own folder on your iPhone. Nothing else has access to them.
Because raw takes are large, the app keeps them out of your iCloud backup unless you ask for them. That keeps a few weeks of recording from silently filling your iCloud storage. You can turn it on under Settings, Backup, and the app shows you how much space it would add before you decide. Your finished videos are saved to your photo library, which iCloud does back up in the normal way.
Either way, the backup is Apple's, not ours. The app itself never uploads anything anywhere.
Saved takes are locked with iOS file protection, which means they cannot be read while your iPhone is locked.
If you delete a draft, or delete the app, that content is gone from your device. We hold no copy, because we never had one.
If you subscribe, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is active. We never see your name, card number or billing address.
Reaction Spark is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. As above, the app collects nothing from any user of any age.
Privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose or delete. The content on your iPhone is yours and is under your control at all times.
Everything above is about the app. This website is a separate thing and it works differently, so here is exactly what it does.
If you put your email address into the form on this site, that address is stored by our website and email provider, GoHighLevel, so that we can email you on the day Reaction Spark reaches the App Store. We use it to send you news about Reaction Spark and nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that removes you straight away, and if you would rather be removed by hand, write to [email protected] and it is done.
If you do not put your email in, we do not know who you are. There is no account and no login on this site.
Like almost every website, this one is hosted by a third party which keeps ordinary records of visits, such as the page requested and the rough location the request came from, and sets the cookies needed to make the signup form work. Those records are about the website. They are not connected to anything you record in the app, because the app never talks to this website or to us at all.
If Reaction Spark ever changes what it does with your data, this policy will be updated before that change ships, and the change will be described plainly in the app. We will not quietly start collecting data under an old policy.
